VOLCANIC STONEBACK CHARMANDER FAMILY

The Volcanic Stoneback are one of the most rare breed of Charmander, as it is found exclusively in the volcanic belts of Alneo Region, which happens to be the most volatile volcanic belts in Pokémon World.

This subspecies of Charmander are adapted to the hot and fiery landscape of Magmagaze mountain ranges and have developed a secondary Rock-type because of cross-breeding with other Rock-type Pokémon abundant in these volcanoes.

The Volcanic Stoneback exploits heavy physical bulk by cutting down aerial movement and hence, these Charizard have relatively smaller wings which are just enough to allow gliding over mountain peaks. Volcanic Stoneback are also known to be the only quadruped breed of the Pokémon, losing the ability to stand on hind legs because of the massive rocky constructs on their backs.

These rock constructs are the most striking feature of Stoneback Charizard, because it works as a natural power station and converts the thermal energy of the magma reserves in it into potential energy, hence granting the Charizard a game-breaking endurance and physical attack.

As ferocious as they may seem, the Volcanic Stoneback are usually more serene and tranquil than other breeds and would rather avoid a battle. Though, if tempted, their razor sharp claws can cut through a Rhyperior's hide with utter ease.
